This was one of the last photos I took on a long autumn weekend spent in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Fall is a beautiful time in New England with many popular spots to view the foliage so I try to spend my time finding new spots. This viewpoint, tucked away in the foothills, was a fantastic spot to watch the sunset on Mount Lafayette and Franconia Ridge with the colorful fall colors spilling over the valley.
