Alpenglow lights up the west facing slopes of Mount Washington and Mount Monroe during an early February sunset. My favorite part is the summmit of Mount Monroe just peaking above the clouds to catch the sunset light from the west. This is one of my favorite viewpoints in the White Mountains and I can’t wait to get back with more snow on the trees in the foreground.
