Early Winter in Franconia Notch

In late November of 2022 six inches of fresh snow blanketed the White Mountains. After a long summer of hot and humid weather, I couldn’t wait to get out for a hike in the winter conditions. I climbed North Kinsman via the Cannonballs and was rewarded with this beautiful view of Franconia Ridge, Cannon Mountain, and Lonesome Lake framed by snow covered trees.
