Franconia Notch Winter Sunset Panorama

Artist’s Bluff, on the north end of Franconia Notch, is one of my favorite winter sunset stops in the White Mountains. Although it has become absurdly crowded in the current age of influencers ruining everything, it is rare to see anyone else on the exposed bluff during the winter.
On this particular evening I was hanging out for a while shooting a timelapse as the sun set behind Cannon Mountain to the west and alpenglow lit up the very tops of Mount Lafayette and Franconia Ridge to the east.
