Fall Foliage National Parks Cape Cod National Seashore Fort Hill New England Massachusetts Cape Cod

Not everyone thinks of Cape Cod when they are planning trips to see the fall foliage in New England but I think more people should. The Red Maple Swamp Trail, in the Fort Hill section of the Cape Cod National Seashore, is beautiful in late October. On this particular trip my eye caught this pair of bright red leaves sitting amidst a pile of dulled older leaves with the boardwalk receding into the colorful forest in the background.
