An early January snowstorm blanketed Cape Cod with just under a foot of snow. I drove down to Woods Hole for sunset planning to hike out to the Knob but as I was passing by Nobska Lighthouse I knew I had to change my plans. The receding storm clouds were rapidly moving out to sea and the sunset light was intermittently breaking through to bathe a snow-covered Nobska Lighthouse in warm sunset light. We don’t get signifigant amounts of snow very often on the Cape so this was a beautiful sunset to get to watch and totally worth the frozen fingers and toes.
