I took this photograph on the morning of the summer solstice in Acadia National Park. I woke up at 3am to make it to the top of Cadillac Mountain for sunrise. As the sun rose over the horizon, the granite slopes at the top of the mountain seemed to glow a beautiful pink color to match the clouds in the sky.

A portion of the sales of this photo will be donated to Friends of Acadia to help protect and preserve the area for future generations.
