I snuck out of the house with my brother early on Thanksgiving morning to take this photo. This is a popular spot for sunrise in the summer but in late November we had the frigid coastline of Acadia National Park to ourselves. The cloudless sunrise lit up the waves crashing on the smooth rocks and the towering granite of Otter Cliffs in the background.
