The 4am alarm to get to Coast Guard Beach at the Cape Cod National Seashore hit me like a ton of bricks but ended up being well worth it. Although there was a dramatic sunrise off to the east, I like how the calm steely blue tones of the clouds and ocean contrast with the warm golden glow on the fence and the dune grass.

A portion of the sales of this photo will be donated to the Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore to help protect and preserve the area for future generations.
