I took this photo while descending the Hi-Cannon Trail after a long but fantastic day hiking in Franconia Notch. The Hi-Cannon Trial is a steep trail that rewards the effort with views south from several exposed rock ledges. Far below is Lonesome Lake and the AMC Lonesome Lake Hut perched on the edge of the water.
