First Snow on Mount Lincoln

In late November of 2022, the first major storm of winter blanketed Franconia Notch with snow. The snow line was readily apparent on the side of Mount Lincoln as warmer temperatures melted the snow from the trees at lower elevation. The upper peaks of the White Mountains remained frozen and the contrast was eye-catching.
